Biography
Inspired by his musical parents, Arlington, Virginia native Brian Daggett has been playing drums since the age of five. By age thirteen, Brian was already performing with the Arlington and McLean Symphonies before later graduating with honors from the Atlanta Institute of Music.
Brian has toured internationally, including a European tour with Grammy Award-winning reggae band SOJA and extensive U.S. tours supporting artists such as Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Toots and the Maytals, Machine Gun Kelly, Reel Big Fish, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Grammy Award-winning reggae band Black Uhuru.
Brian has released five full-length albums with Atlanta-based rock band Groove Stain and has contributed to numerous singles with Myrtle Beach–based singer-songwriters and country artists. His studio work includes collaborations with Grammy Award-winning producers Shondrae "Bangladesh" Crawford and Rico Wade of Organized Noize, known for their work with Outkast, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, and Usher.
In 2014, Brian was called upon as a first-call fill-in drummer at the Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Since 2015, he has been a full-time member of the cast, performing over 300 shows annually in the Opry's 2,200-seat theater.
Brian currently performs nightly at the Carolina Opry while also offering professional live and remote drum recording services from his Dowling Street Studio in Myrtle Beach, SC.
